For Immediate Release
Contact: Jennifer Hubrig, Director of Marketing

Minot, ND – United Community Bank of ND is excited to be holding the 4th Annual Run for the Hills event held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 7pm, with registration beginning at 6pm. While the event will continue to be held at the Minot Country Club as it has in the past, this year it will be featuring a new route that will showcase the back nine holes of the golf course.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Companions for Children. “Companions for Children is an outstanding organization that provides great opportunity for youth in our community,” says Jennifer Hubrig, United Community Bank Marketing Director. “We enjoy partnering with them on this event and bringing awareness to such an important need.”
If registered prior to May 23, registration is just $15 for an individual or $50 for a team of four.  Families are encouraged to participate in the event together, and children 12 and under are free. Registration is available at any UCB location, at www.runforthehills18.eventbrite.com or on site the day of the event.

In under five years, Companions for Children has grown from serving 13 children in need of a role model in the Minot and surrounding area to capping their abilities at 100 children.  “Companions for Children is very excited to continue to work with United Community Bank in the Run for the Hills fundraiser to raise money for the youth mentoring program. With Companions for Children and UCB being local to the Minot and surrounding area, it seems to be a very fitting collaboration,” says Heather Cymbaluk, Executive Director for Companions for Children.

Contact Jennifer Hubrig at 701-420-5734 or jhubrig@ucbnd.com with any questions on the event. For information regarding Companions for Children contact Heather Cymbaluk at children@srt.com or visit their website at www.companionsforchildren.org.
