Ward County Sheriff Candidate Open Forum
On Wednesday, March 21st, Minot Young Professionals will be hosting a candidate open forum for the three declared Ward County Sheriff candidates: Sheriff Bob Barnard, Candidate Robert Roed, and Candidate Michael McCloud.  The open forum will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Roosevelt Park Zoo.
 

Women Connect
Women Connect is a program focused on developing female professionals through sessions that focus on topics important to a woman's professional and personal life.  On Tuesday, February 20th, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, Women Connect will hold their next session, "Navigating the "B" Word" at the Grand Hotel.  Through this session, women will be able to explore and discuss the implications of being labeled "bossy" through four guided focus areas, including:

  • Why the Buzz about "Bossy"
  • Understanding the "B" Word
  • Raising Bossy Girls
  • Beating Bossy - tips, tricks, and tools to overcome the "B" word. 
This event is presented by Women Connect and the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce.  Special thanks to Location Sponsor:  Center for Technology and Business.

Chamber memebers fee $25.00
Non-Members fee $35.00

Coffee, water and rolls will be provided, please come and join us for this informative session.
