Adopt-A-Lot
As a way to contribute to the vibrancy and resiliency of the Minot community, the Minot Park District and Minot Young Professionals are teaming up with the City of Minot and AmeriCorps VISTAs to design and implement an Adopt-A-Lot program. An Adopt-A-Lot program is a very simple concept: organizations or businesses in the community commit to caring for vacant land in their neighborhood, which in turn reduces crime, increases property values, reduces upkeep costs for the City of Minot, and improves the appearance of our community. The Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors helped cut the ribbon for the Adopy A Lot program on June 20th.
